Manchester United target Karim Benzema takes to Instagram

Karim Benzema was in a pensive mood on Wednesday night as the Manchester United target relaxed on his summer holidays.

The Los Blancos forward was omitted from Didier Deschamps’s France squad for the European championship despite an impressive season for the 11-time Champions League winners.

The Real Madrid star has been linked with a big-money move to The Bernabeu as Jose Mourinho looks to bolster his attacking options at Old Trafford following his appointment last month.

However, as of yet, United have failed to lure Benzema to the Premier League despite previously trying to sign the France forward before his move to Madrid in 2009.

And Benzema, who has scored 111 times in 215 La Liga appearances for Madrid, posted the above photo on his Instagram page and wrote the following cryptic caption: “Cause I ain’t mad at cha.”

The Madrid forward has won La Liga, the Champions League twice and two Copa del Rey crowns during seven years at The Bernabeu.
