New Liverpool signing Marko Grujic makes the most of his summer holidays
Marko Grujic partied in Mallorca with a pal ahead of the midfielder’s permanent transfer to Liverpool for the 2016-17 season.
The Serbian playmaker agreed a deal to join the Merseyside outfit in the January transfer window after Liverpool completed a £4.7m deal with Red Star Belgrade for the highly-rated midfielder.
Grujic helped Red Star to win the Serbian top-flight crown in the second half of the 2015-16 season after he returned to his boyhood club on loan until the end of the campaign.
The 20-year-old even captained Red Star in his final game for the club, scoring a brilliant solo goal to give Liverpool supporters a taste of what is to come next term.
But Grujic was putting his feet up on Sunday as he partied with some friends in Mallorca ahead of what should be a demanding pre-season under his new manager Jurgen Klopp.
Grujic posted the above photo and wrote: “Happy days 🎉⛱🇪🇸🐙 #party #mallorca @risticmihailo24”
Liverpool finished in eighth place in the Premier League table.
