Loris Karius relaxed in the sunshine on Wednesday afternoon ahead of his first Premier League season as a Liverpool player.

The Germany Under-21 international moved to the Reds in a £4.7m deal from Mainz earlier this summer as Jurgen Klopp strengthened his goalkeeping options at the Merseyside outfit.

The Liverpool manager handed Karius the number one shirt in a hint that the German shot stopper could replace Belgium international Simon Mignolet as the club’s first-choice goalkeeper.

And Karius, who has been holidaying in Ibiza and Germany ahead of his first season in the Premier League, posted the above stylish photo as he relaxed on Wednesday afternoon.

Liverpool finished in eighth place in the Premier League table last season in Klopp’s first campaign in charge.
