Marko Grujic has taken to social media to reveal his excitement ahead of his first season at Liverpool.

The Serbian agreed a deal to join the Merseyside outfit in the January transfer window after Liverpool completed a £4.7m deal with Red Star Belgrade for the highly-rated midfielder.

Grujic helped Red Star to win the Serbian top-flight crown in the second half of the 2015-16 season after returning to his boyhood club on loan until the end of the campaign.

Now, however, the 20-year-old is preparing for his first taste of English football as he gears up for the 2016-17 campaign at Anfield.

And Grujic is clearly excited about the season ahead, if his latest post on social media is anything to go by.

He shared the picture above of himself holding a Liverpool shirt and wrote: “Can’t wait to start! I hope that we’ll have successful season #ynwa #lfc @liverpoolfc @ynwagram”
