Tottenham star Erik Lamela reflects on his second Argentina goal

Erik Lamela celebrated scoring his second international goal for Argentina on Wednesday after the Tottenham Hotspur playmaker netted in a 3-0 victory over Bolivia.

The Spurs midfielder scored the opener in Argentina’s landslide victory in the Copa America to secure top spot in Group D and book their place in the quarter-finals.

Lamela, who swapped Roma for Spurs in a £30.75m deal in 2013, helped Argentina set a record in the Copa America after the Albiceleste racked up 10 goals in the group stage.

And the 24-year-old took to Twitter to celebrate scoring his second goal for the Argentina national team.

Lamela has scored one goal in three appearances in this summer’s Copa America for the Albiceleste.

The South American playmaker scored five goals and made nine assists in 34 Premier League appearances for the Lilywhites last season.
