Roberto Soldado sends message to new Man United signing, aims dig at Arsenal

Former Spurs man Roberto Soldado could not help but aim a cheeky dig at Arsenal...

Roberto Soldado has taken to social media to wish Eric Bailly all the best following his transfer to Manchester United this week, and also aimed a slight dig at Arsenal.

The Ivorian defender became Manchester United’s first signing of the summer on Wednesday as he put pen to paper on a four-year deal with the Red Devils.

Former Tottenham Hotspur Soldado played alongside Bailly during the defender’s 18-month spell at Villarreal.

And Soldado was quick to wish the defender all the best for his time in the Premier League, but did not let the opportunity to have a dig at Tottenham’s bitter local rivals Arsenal pass him up.

Soldado tweeted the photo above and wrote: “I don’t like red colour in England, but i wish you all the best my friend. Enjoy the @premierleague”

United are still believed to be on the lookout for a number of new signings this summer as Jose Mourinho prepares for his first season in charge at Old Trafford.
