Star striker drops hint about Man United transfer – report

Has Zlatan Ibrahimovic's footwear switch indicated a move to Manchester United is on the cards?

Zlatan Ibrahimovic has dropped a hint that he could be on his way to Manchester United this summer by switching to a pair of Adidas boots in Sweden training, according to reports.

The veteran striker has been heavily linked with a transfer to Old Trafford in recent weeks, speculation which has intensified since Jose Mourinho’s appointment as manager last month.

Ibrahimovic, who left Paris Saint-Germain at the end of the season, appears to be in no rush to announce his next club, however, as he continues to represent his country at Euro 2016.

Now, The Sun is reporting that the fact the 34-year-old striker switched boots this week could indicate he is on his way to United, who are sponsored by Adidas.

The same report says that Ibrahimovic has always been associated with Nike since breaking into the team at Ajax, and has been a big part of their advertising campaigns.
