Michy Batshuayi is happy to join Tottenham Hotspur this summer but will demand £100,000 a week in wages, according to reports.

The north London side are yet to make any signings this summer despite being in the market for reinforcements ahead of their return to the Champions League next season.

The Marseilles striker is said to be on the top of Mauricio Pochettino’s transfer shortlist this summer as the Spurs boss bids to strengthen his attacking options at White Hart Lane.

Now, The Sun is reporting that the player would be open to a transfer to White Hart Lane this summer, but is demanding at least £100,000 a week in wages.

That would make Batshuayi Spurs’ highest-paid player by some distance and the same report says that Tottenham chiefs are reluctant to offer that much to the player.

The same report goes on to say that Harry Kane is in talks with Spurs over a new contract.
