Tottenham closing in on the signing of 20-year-old striker in £9.2m deal – report
Tottenham want to sign Antonio Sanabria from Roma this summer, say reports
Tottenham are closing in on the signing of Antonio Sanabria from Roma this summer, according to reports.
The north London side are believed to be on the lookout for a number of attacking reinforcements this summer as Mauricio Pochettino prepares his side for a return to the Champions League next season.
The Lilywhites are keen to bring in cover for first-choice striker Harry Kane ahead of their involvement in Europe’s elite club competition next term.
Now, Italian journalist Emanuele Giulianelli is reporting that Tottenham are pushing to sign Sanabria from AS Roma in a deal worth around £9.2m.
He tweeted on Tuesday:

Sanabria spent last season on loan at Sporting Gijon, where he scored 11 league goals in 30 games for the Spanish outfit.
Tottenham ended up in third place in the Premier League table last season, after they were pipped to second place by Arsenal on the final day of the campaign.
