Tottenham line up £11.5m offer for Paraguay playmaker – report
Tottenham are thought to be putting together an £11.5m offer for Antonio Sanabria, according to Daily Mirror
Tottenham are lining up a £11.5m offer for Croatia and Roma playmaker Antonio Sanabria in the summer transfer window, according to the Daily Mirror.
The 20-year-old impressed during a season-long loan at Sporting Gijon last term after the Croatian youngster scored 11 times and made one assist in 28 La Liga appearances.
Sanabria is set to return to the Rome outfit this summer after having made two previous appearances for Roma following his £3m move from Sassulo in the summer of 2014.
Tottenham finished in third place in the Premier League table last season after a four-game winless run to end an otherwise promising campaign for the Mauricio Pochettino’s side.
According to Daily Mirror, Tottenham are lining up an £11.5m deal for the Paraguayan midfielder as Pochettino looks to improve his attacking options ahead of the 2015/16 season.
Spurs are set to play in the Champions League for just the second time in their history next term.
