Tottenham Hotspur are set to sign AZ Alkmaar striker Vincent Janssen, according to the Daily Mirror
Tottenham Hotspur are poised to sign Dutch striker Vincent Janssen in a £12m deal from AZ Alkmaar, according to the Daily Mirror.
Spurs manager Mauricio Pochettino has been linked with a move for a centre-forward in the summer transfer window to help ease the workload on England international Harry Kane.
Tottenham target Janssen finished as the Eredivisie’s top goal-scorer last season after the 21-year-old scored an impressive 27 times in 34 games for Alkmaar.
The Lilywhites were already reported to have had a bid turned down for the Netherlands international amid interest from Serie A giants AC Milan and La Liga outfit Atletico Madrid.
Spurs forward Kane finished as the Premier League’s top goal-scorer last term after the England forward netted 25 times in 37 top-flight games in England.
