Tottenham ready to sign Juventus playmaker – report

Tottenham are planning a bid to sign Roberto Pereyra from Juventus this summer, according to reports

Tottenham are lining up a transfer move to beat West Ham to the signing of Roberto Pereyra this summer, according to reports.

The Lilywhites are widely tipped to be one of the busiest clubs in the summer transfer window as they prepare for a return to the Champions League next season.

West Ham have been strongly linked with a move for Juventus playmaker Pereyra in recent days, but according to reports in Italy, Spurs are ready to muscle in and attempt to lure the player to White Hart Lane.

The 25-year-old played for River Plate and Udinese before joining Juve but is believed to be open to a move away from the Serie A side this summer.

Now, Tutto Mercato Web is reporting that Tottenham are planning to go head to head with West Ham for the player’s signature this summer.

The report goes on to say that Pereyra would favour a move to Spurs over the Hammers because of the possibility to play under his compatriot Mauricio Pochettino.
