Tottenham to hold talks on Wednesday about signing £16.3m striker – report

Tottenham are in the race to sign Antonio Sanabria from Roma, according to reports

Tottenham are set to hold talks with AS Roma on Wednesday about the possibility of signing Antonio Sanabria in a £16.3m deal, according to reports.

Spurs are believed to be on the lookout for a number of new players in the summer transfer window as Mauricio Pochettino gears his side up for a return to the Champions League next season.

The Lilywhites have already recruited midfielder Victor Wanyama from Southampton as Spurs begin their preparations for the new campaign.

A new striker is believed to be high on Pochettino’s list of priorities this summer as he looks to add cover for star man Harry Kane at White Hart Lane.

Now, the Daily Express is reporting that Spurs are set to hold talks with Roma this week about the possibility of signing 20-year-old striker Sanabria.
