Tottenham to win the race to sign £11m Premier League midfielder – report
Tottenham are expected to beat Leicester to the signing of Victor Wanyama, according to Daily Mirror
Tottenham Hotspur are being tipped to beat Leicester City to the signing of £11m-rated midfielder Victor Wanyama, according to reports in England.
The Lilywhites have been long-term admirers of the Kenya international since current Spurs manager Mauricio Pochettino signed the powerful midfielder during his spell at St Mary’s.
Wanyama was thought to be on the brink of a move to White Hart Lane last season but Southampton refused to sell the 24-year-old and the African remained at the south coast club.
Premier League champions Leicester City are also thought to be interested in signing the Saints star as Claudio Ranieri prepares to lose N’Golo Kante this summer.
According to Daily Mirror, Tottenham are set to beat Leicester to the signing of Wanyama in a £11m deal this summer’s transfer window.
