Alex Iwobi is determined to prove himself at Arsenal next season

Alex Iwobi appears to be determined to prove himself at Arsenal next season after he returned to pre-season training with his team-mates on Tuesday.

The midfielder earned plenty of new admirers for his performances for the Gunners last season as he enjoyed a run in Arsene Wenger’s first team.

Iwobi scored two goals and made two assists in a total of 17 first team appearances for the north London club after being given a run-out by Wenger towards the end of the campaign.

And the 20-year-old is clearly determined to continue to build on his breakthrough campaign as he prepares for the 2016-17 season.

Iwobi posted the picture above of himself in action at London Colney on his personal Instagram account and wrote: “Back In Training & Looking Forward To The Season ! #AFC”
