Alexis Sanchez has been feeling philosophical...

Alexis Sanchez was clearly feeling in a philosophical mood as he continues to enjoy his summer holidays ahead of his return to Arsenal for the new season.

The attacker has been given an extended summer holiday by his club after his involvement in the Copa America with Chile in the United States.

Arsenal fans will be hoping that Sanchez has been using his summer break to recharge his batteries ahead of the 2016-17 Premier League campaign.

The Chile international also featured in the Copa America last summer and suffered a muscular injury in the lead-up to Christmas, which ruled him out of the festive period.

And the 27-year-old used his personal Instagram account to send a philosophical message to his followers as he continues to unwind on holiday.

Sanchez posted the picture above on Instagram and wrote: “The difference between good people and extraordinary people is related to their mindset, motivation and positive reaction before adversity…”

The forward has been one of Arsenal’s standout performers since his arrival at the club from Barcelona in the summer of 2014.
