French newspaper Le Progres – as reported by the Daily Express – is reporting that the north London side are ready to firm up their interest in the France international by tabling an official bid in the coming days.
The same report claims that Arsenal have already had a £33m offer for the striker turned down by Lyon this summer.
Now, it is being reporting that Arsenal are ready to make a fresh bid to sign the French forward.
Arsenal boss Arsene Wenger is believed to be on the lookout for attacking reinforcements this summer and has signalled his intention to bolster his strikeforce with the club’s failed bid to sign Jamie Vardy from Leicester City.
The north London club have signed midfielder Granit Xhaka and striker Takuma Asano so far this summer.
