Arsenal star Mohamed Elneny sends a message to Stoke's new signing Ramadan Sobhi

Mohamed Elneny has welcomed his Egypt team-mate Ramadan Sobhi to the Premier League after the youngster completed a move to Stoke City on Monday.

The 19-year-old has put pen to paper a long-term deal with the Potters after Stoke manager Mark Hughes paid a reported £5m for the Al Ahly winger.

Sobhi arrives in the Premier League with some title-winning experience already in his locker after helping Aly Ahly win to league titles since making his debut.

The new Stoke signing’s Egypt team-mate Elneny moved to Arsenal in a £7m deal from Swiss champions Basel in the January transfer window.

The 24-year-old midfielder proved a hit with the fans and was voted Arsenal’s player of the month for April and May.

And Elneny was delighted to welcome his compatriot to the Premier League following his £5m move to The Britannia.

Elneny could be in action for Arsenal against the MLS All-Star team on Thursday in San Jose.
