Arsenal prepare double summer transfer swoop – report

Arsenal are preparing a double transfer swoop to sign Manchester City’s Jason Denayer and Borussia Dortmund’s Matthias Ginter, say reports

Arsenal are preparing to table bids to sign Manchester City’s Jason Denayer and Borussia Dortmund’s Matthias Ginter in the summer transfer window, according to reports in the British media.

The Sun is reporting that the north London club are keen to bolster their defensive options this summer and are ready to table separate bids for the Dortmund and City players.

The same report goes on to say that Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger has been tracking the pair for some time and is now ready to make an official transfer move.

It also states that the players are expected to cost in the region of £10m and £12m each.

Denayer is seen as a star of the future and the same article claims that Wenger is confident that he can tempt the defender away from City to Arsenal as Pep Guardiola weighs up a move to sign Leonardo Bonucci this summer.
