Arsenal receive massive boost as Juventus end interest in Chile striker – report
Arsenal won't lose Alexis Sanchez to Juventus this summer, according to reports in Italy
Arsenal will be keeping hold of Alexis Sanchez this summer after Juventus switched their focus to Manchester United striker Javier Hernandez, according to reports.
The Serie A champions were thought to be lining up a big-money offer for the Chile international following Alvaro Morata’s return to Real Madrid after weeks of intensive speculation.
Sanchez finished the season without any silverware after Arsenal made premature exits in the Champions League and the FA Cup last term despite the South American’s best efforts.
However, Arsenal supporters can rest easy after it was claimed that Juventus have ended their interest in the former Barcelona forward in the summer transfer window.
According to Gianluca di Marzio, Juventus are monitoring Bayer Leverkusen striker Hernandez as a possible alternative to Sanchez as Massimiliano Allegri looks to bolster his attacking options.
Arsenal finished in second place in the Premier League table after a 4-0 victory over Aston Villa on the final day of the season.
