Arsenal to make Premier League star their fourth summer signing – report
Riyad Mahrez has agreed to join Arsenal from Leicester City, according to reports in France
Riyad Mahrez has agreed to join Arsenal from Leicester City this summer, according to reports in France.
The French edition of Eurosport is claiming that the attacker has agreed a deal to become the north London club’s fourth signing of the summer transfer window.
The story goes on to say that Arsenal are lining up a £41m bid for the 25-year-old and that Mahrez now has his heart set on a transfer to the north London club.
Arsenal boss Arsene Wenger has already signalled his intention to sign a new attacker this summer with the club’s failed bid to land Jamie Vardy from Leicester before Euro 2016.
Wenger has already signed midfielder Granit Xhaka, striker Takuma Asano and defender Rob Holding so far this summer.
Mahrez played a key role in helping Leicester win the Premier League title last season and was rewarded for his fine form by winning the PFA player of the year award.
