Arsenal’s latest official transfer statement will please Gunners fans
Arsenal confirm that they are still in the market for more players after the signing of Rob Holding
Arsenal completed their third signing of the summer transfer window on Friday as they wrapped up a deal for defender Rob Holding from Bolton Wanderers.
The 20-year-old signed a long-term contract with the north London club to become Arsenal’s third signing after the arrivals of Granit Xhaka and Takuma Asano.
However, many Arsenal fans will still be waiting for the big-name signing they have been craving in recent weeks as Arsene Wenger looks to further bolster his squad ahead of the new campaign.
And the official statement announcing Holding’s signing on Friday does offer some hope for Gunners fans, as they confirmed that their transfer business is not over.
The end of the post on the club website reads: “We remain in the market, so stay close to Arsenal.com for any further transfer news.”
Arsenal have been linked with a host of players this summer as Wenger looks to bolster his squad ahead of next season.
The Gunners were widely criticised for failing to sustain a Premier League title challenge as they ended up second in the table and 10 points behind champions Leicester City last season.
