Arsenal’s next two transfer plans revealed – report
Arsene Wenger wants to sign a striker and central defender for Arsenal this summer, say reports
Arsene Wenger wants to sign a senior striker and a centre-back in the summer transfer window to bolster his Arsenal squad, according to reports.
The Telegraph is reporting that the Arsenal boss is still keen to further bolster his squad ahead of next season following the arrivals of Granit Xhaka and Takuma Asano so far this summer.
Wenger has already signalled his intention to bring a new striker to The Emirates this summer with the club’s failed bid to sign Jamie Vardy from Leicester City.
Now, the same newspaper report says that Wenger is keeping tabs on Spain striker Alvaro Morata and Lyon’s Alexandre Lacazette as he looks to add some fresh attacking talent to his squad.
The story goes on to say that Wenger is also keen to add a new central defender to his team.
Wenger is about to enter into the final year of his contract at Arsenal.
The Frenchman found himself under intense pressure last season after the Gunners failed to win a trophy and ended up second in the Premier League.
