Chelsea determined to keep midfielder amid Man United interest – report
Chelsea want to keep Nemanja Matic amid Man United interest, according to reports in British media
Chelsea are determined to keep Nemanja Matic amid interest from Manchester United, according to reports in the British media.
The Daily Mail claim that the Serbia international is a target for Serie A champions Juventus and the Blues’s Premier League rivals United.
The same report states that Matic would be open to reuniting with his former Chelsea manager Jose Mourinho at the 20-time English champions.
However, the story suggests that Chelsea owner Roman Abramovich is unwilling to sell the 27-year-old midfielder in the summer transfer window.
Matic moved to Chelsea from Benfica in 2013 less than two years after he moved away from Stamford Bridge and joined the Portuguese side as part of a deal to sign David Luiz.

The Serbian defensive midfielder won the Premier League title and the League Cup crown in the 2014/15 alongside Mourinho.
The former Benfica man has netted eight times in 108 appearances in all competitions for the west London side during his second spell at Stamford Bridge.
Chelsea finished in tenth place in the Premier League table last term after a disappointing defence of their top-flight crown.
