Chelsea offered Spain striker as part of £35m swap deal – report
Real Madrid will offer Chelsea the chance to sign Alvaro Morata and £35m for Eden Hazard, according to reports
Real Madrid are set to offer Chelsea the chance to sign Alvaro Morata plus £35m in an attempt to lure Eden Hazard to The Bernabeu, according to reports.
The Blues are one of three Premier League clubs thought to be interested in signing the 23-year-old centre-forward this summer, with Arsenal and Manchester United also linked with the Madrid centre-forward.
Belgium international Hazard was linked with a move to Los Blancos throughout the 2015/16 Premier League season despite the 25-year-old’s staggering loss of form for the west London side.
According to the Daily Mirror, Madrid are prepared to offer Chelsea the option of signing Morata as part of a £35m swap deal involving the 2015 PFA player of the year.
Hazard endured an 11-month goal drought before the Belgian forward scored twice in a 4-0 victory over Bournemouth at Vitality Stadium at the end of April.
