Chelsea have won the race to sign Napoli defender Kalidou Koulibaly this summer, according to reports in the British media.
The Daily Mirror is claiming that Chelsea are on the verge of concluding a deal the bring the Senegalese defender to Stamford Bridge and make him their second signing of the summer transfer window after the arrival of Michy Batshuayi on Sunday.
The same report claims that the player has now decided that his future lies away from Serie A and that Chelsea are set to complete the deal once he agrees a severance package with Napoli.
It also says that Chelsea are set to beat London rivals Arsenal to the signing of Koulibaly.
Chelsea have been linked with a host of players in recent weeks as Conte gears up for his first season in charge at the west London club.
However, despite all of the speculation, the Blues have only formally announced the signing of Batshuayi from Marseille.
