Chelsea want to make AC Milan star Conte’s first summer signing – report
Chelsea are lining up a summer transfer bid to bring AC Milan goalkeeper Diego Lopez to the club this summer, say reports
Chelsea are ready to make a move to sign AC Milan goalkeeper Diego Lopez, according to reports.
The Blues have been linked with a host of players in recent weeks as they prepare for Antonio Conte’s first season in charge of the west London club.
However, despite all of the speculation, Chelsea are yet to make any new signings ahead of the Italian coach’s arrival at Stamford Bridge.
Now, Gianluca Di Marzio is reporting that the Blues are keen to bring former Real Madrid shot-stopper to the club, with Asmir Begovic set to leave Chelsea this summer.
The same report goes on to say that Begovic is keen to leave Chelsea in search of regular first-team football and the Blues are lining up AC Milan goalkeeper Lopez as a replacement.

According to The Sun, incoming Blues boss Conte is believed to be willing to give Lopez the chance to impress him at Stamford Bridge from next season.
Conte is set to officially take over at Stamford Bridge following his involvement in Euro 2016 with Italy after being appointed as Jose Mourinho’s permanent successor at the west London club.
