Danny Higginbotham gives his approval following Manchester United's latest summer signing
Danny Higginbotham has taken to social media to praise Manchester United’s signing of Henrikh Mkhitaryan from German club Borussia Dortmund.
The 27-year-old playmaker finally put pen to paper on a four-year contract with the Red Devils on Wednesday afternoon after days of speculation linking him with a move to Old Trafford.
The Armenia international becomes new manager Jose Mourinho’s third signing of the summer transfer window after the arrivals of defender Eric Bailly and striker Zlatan Ibrahimovic.
The move signals Mourinho’s intention to revamp his United squad as he prepares for his first season in charge at Old Trafford.
And former defender Higginbotham believes that the signing of Mkhitaryan marks an impressive transfer move by United.
Higginbotham tweeted on Wednesday:
