David Beckham boldly predicts where Man United will finish under Jose Mourinho

David Beckham confidently predicts that Manchester United will win the Premier League title

David Beckham has backed Manchester United to win the Premier League title in Jose Mourinho’s first season in charge at Old Trafford.

The Red Devils appointed the former Real Madrid manager as Louis van Gaal’s replacement after a disappointing fifth-placed finish in the Premier League table.

Mourinho has already been busy improving the United squad ahead of the 2016/17 Premier League season after snapping up Villarreal defender Eric Bailly, Swedish centre-forward Zlatan Ibrahimovic and Borussia Dortmund midfielder Henrikh Mkhitaryan.

The 20-time English champions haven’t won the Premier League since Sir Alex Ferguson’s final season in charge of the Red Devils in 2013 before David Moyes succeeded his fellow Scot at Old Trafford.

However, Beckham, who won five Premier League titles and the Champions League during his United career, is confident Mourinho can restore the Red Devils to glory this season.

“I am going to have to say United [will win the title]. I will always be on that side of the fence,” Beckham told Sky Sports.
