Erik Lamela is recharging his batteries ahead of Tottenham's return to the Champions League next season
Erik Lamela looks to be making the most of his summer holidays as he unwinds with his girlfriend in Spain.
The Tottenham Hotspur playmaker is currently recharging his batteries after his involvement in the Copa America with Argentina, as his side lost on penalties to Chile in the final.
Lamela is now making the most of some summer sunshine in the Spanish Mediterranean island of Formentera as the new Premier League season draws ever nearer.
And the playmaker looked to be relaxed as he posed for a picture with his girlfriend Sofia Herrero and friends on a boat.
Lamela posted the picture above on his personal Instagram account on Sunday.
The 24-year-old scored 11 goals and made nine assists for Spurs last season.
Lamela and his Tottenham Hotspur team-mates are preparing for a return to the Champions League next season after the Lilywhites’ third placed finish in the Premier League last term.
Spurs earned plenty of new admirers for their impressive performances last term as they challenged Leicester City in the race for the Premier League title.
