Guillem Balague makes confident prediction about Paul Pogba and Man United

Guillem Balague is certain that Paul Pogba will re-join Manchester United this summer

Guillem Balague is convinced that Paul Pogba will end up signing for Manchester United from Juventus this summer.

The Red Devils have been heavily linked with a move to sign the France midfielder in recent weeks as Jose Mourinho looks to further bolster his squad following his arrival at Old Trafford.

Mourinho has already brought in Eric Bailly, Zlatan Ibrahimovic and Henrikh Mkhitaryan this summer but Pogba continues to be heavily linked with a switch back to United.

Pogba was allowed to leave United to join Juventus back in the summer of 2012 and has since developed into one of Europe’s top midfielder.

Now, Spanish football expert Balague has underlined his belief that United will beat off competition from Real Madrid and land Pogba this summer in a big-money transfer.

Writing in his column for Spanish newspaper AS, Balague said: “Jose Mourinho was told that Real Madrid had removed themselves from the race to sign Paul Pogba despite the intention of Mino Raiola and the player himself to keep their options open.

“But Manchester United took the news with a pinch of salt and will not give up on their pursuit of the France midfielder until he is photographed wearing the red shirt, which I am convinced is what will happen.”
