Insider delivers latest update on Julian Draxler’s transfer link to Arsenal
Italian journalist Emanuele Giulianelli delivers the latest update about the reports linking Julian Draxler with Arsenal
Julian Draxler’s agent has been in contact with Arsene Wenger about a potential transfer to Arsenal this summer, according to Italian journalist Emanuele Giulianelli.
The north London side continue to be linked with a host of players as Wenger sets about strengthening his squad ahead of the 2016-17 campaign.
Despite all of the speculation, however, Arsenal have thus far only signed midfielder Granit Xhaka and striker Takuma Asano in the current transfer window.
Germany international Draxler has been touted as a possible transfer target for the Gunners as Wenger looks to add to his attacking options at The Emirates.
Now, Italian reporter Giulianelli has taken to Twitter to deliver his latest information about the proposed transfer.
He explains that while there has not yet been an official bid from Arsenal, Draxler’s agent has been in contact with Wenger – and the Wolfsburg man would be keen on a move to The Emirates.
Giulianelli tweeted:
