Insider reveals Arsenal’s three top striker transfer targets
Arsenal are keeping tabs on Gonzalo Higuain, Mauro Icardi and Alexandre Lacazette, according to Emaneuele Giulianelli
Arsenal are interested in signing Gonzalo Higuain, Mauro Icardi and Alexandre Lacazette this summer as Arsene Wenger looks to land a new striker, according to Italian journalist Emanuele Giulianelli.
Giulianelli – writing in his column for Tribal Football – is claiming that the north London side are keeping tabs on all three players this summer.
The same report goes on to say that Wenger would rather bring in Germany playmaker Julian Draxler from Wolfsburg and stick with Olivier Giroud at The Emirates than just sign Lacazette from Lyon.
Arsenal are believed to be on the lookout for attacking reinforcements as Wenger bids to revamp his squad ahead of the new season.
Wenger has seemingly made clear his intention to sign a new striker this summer with Arsenal’s failed bid to sign Jamie Vardy from Leicester before Euro 2016.
The Gunners have thus far only signed midfielder Granit Xhaka and striker Takuma Asano in the current transfer window.
