Insider reveals two of Antonio Conte’s Chelsea transfer targets

Chelsea are looking to sign these two Lazio midfielders, according to Emanuele Giulianelli

Antonio Conte is chasing the signatures of both Antonio Candreva and Marco Parolo as he looks to bolster his Chelsea squad this summer, according to Italian journalist Emanuele Giulianelli.

Conte is currently getting to grips with life as Chelsea boss after being appointed as Jose Mourinho’s permanent successor at Stamford Bridge earlier this year.

The Italian coach has already moved quickly to secure the signings of striker Michy Batshuyi and midfielder N’Golo Kante so far this summer.

However, it appears that Conte is still keen to add to his midfield options at Stamford Bridge, if reporter Giulianelli is to be believed.

Giulianelli claims that Lazio duo Candreva, 29, and Parolo, 31, are both targets for Chelsea in the current transfer window ahead of next season.

Giulianelli tweeted:

Chelsea are looking to further bolster their squad after the disappointment of their 10th-placed finish in the Premier League last season as they missed out on a spot in Europe next term.
