Jack Wilshere helps reveal Arsenal’s short-term centre-half solution
Could Francis Coquelin be the answer to Arsene Wenger's Arsenal headache?
Jack Wilshere turned journalist on Wednesday as the Arsenal midfielder managed to get a revealing answer from his team-mate Francis Coquelin over the Frenchman’s future in Arsene Wenger’s side.
The Gunners were dealt a blow earlier this week after Wenger confirmed that Germany centre-half Per Mertesacker is set to be sidelined for a few months with a knee injury.
The Arsenal manager has strengthened his squad with Bolton Wanderers defender Rob Holding earlier this month but it appears Wenger may have a short-term solution to his defensive woes.
Handed interviewing duties for Arsenal’s official Snapchat account (@arsenalfc), Wilshere asked Coquelin what he has been doing during the north London side’s training session in San Jose.

Arsenal are currently in the United States ahead of the start of the 2016/17 Premier League season.
Wenger’s side will start the new campaign with a home clash against Jurgen Klopp’s Liverpool side at the Emirates Stadium.
The north London side haven’t won the Premier League title since 2004 when Patrick Vieira and Thierry Henry inspired the Gunners to glory.
