Jose Mourinho reveals his main targets to Manchester United fans ahead of the new season
Jose Mourinho has declared that he wants his Manchester United team to give him and the fans “everything” next season.
The Portuguese coach is currently preparing for his first season in charge at Old Trafford after being appointed as the club’s new manager back in May.
Mourinho signed a three-year deal with the Red Devils and has already set about quickly revamping his squad in the transfer market.
The new United boss has already signed defender Eric Bailly, striker Zlatan Ibrahimovic and playmaker Henrikh Mkhitaryan so far this summer.
The Red Devils are inevitably being linked with a host of other players as the summer transfer window continues.
But as the attentions begin to turn towards the new Premier League season, Mourinho has set out his basic targets to the club’s fans.
Speaking in an interview published on United’s website, Mourinho said: “I’m not humble when I talk about targets, I’m quite aggressive on that. I want everything and everything is to win matches, play well, score goals, don’t concede goals… everything. I want everything.
“I know that we are speaking about a hypothetical situation which is very difficult to reach but I want everything.”

United finished fifth in the Premier League last season and won the FA Cup before the club opted to sack Louis van Gaal back in May and appoint Mourinho as his successor.
