Jurgen Klopp wants to make Dortmund star his next Liverpool signing – report
Liverpool are interested in signing Jakub Blaszczykowski from Borussia Dortmund, say reports in Germany
Liverpool are interested in signing Jakub Blaszczykowski from Borussia Dortmund in the summer transfer window, according to reports in Germany.
German outlet Bild is reporting that Liverpool boss Jurgen Klopp is keen to work with the Poland international midfielder again and wants to bring him to Anfield this summer.
Blaszczykowski played under Klopp at Dortmund and helped them win the Bundesliga title in 2011 and 2012.
The player spent last season on loan to Serie A side Fiorentina and the same story says that Klopp is now willing to offer the 30-year-old a switch to the Premier League.
Klopp is currently gearing up for his first full season in charge at Anfield after his appointment as Brendan Rodgers’ successor back in October.
The German coach is clearly determined to revamp his squad ahead of the new campaign and has already secured the signings of Sadio Mane, Joel Matip, Loris Karius and Marko Grujic so far this summer.
Liverpool finished eighth in the Premier League last season.
