Juventus meet with Paul Pogba’s agent over Man United move – report
Juventus hold a meeting with Paul Pogba's agent to resolve Man United target's future, according to reports in Italy
Juventus held a meeting with Paul Pogba’s agent Mino Raiola on Tuesday afternoon as the two parties looked to resolve the midfielder’s future amid interest from Manchester United, according to reports in Italy.
Gianlucadimarzio.com are claiming that Juventus sporting director Beppe Marotta met with Pogba’s representative Raiola to iron out a few details which are holding up the France international’s move to Old Trafford.
The same story reports that the meeting took place in Milan and Pogba’s agent left the meeting looking “nervous” as Jose Mourinho looks to secure his fourth signing of the summer transfer window so far.
The new United manager has already signed Ivory Coast and Villarreal defender Eric Bailly, Swedish legend Zlatan Ibrahimovic and Borussia Dortmund midfielder Henrikh Mkhitaryan.
Mourinho’s side lost their latest pre-season friendly fixture in Shanghai after a 4-1 defeat by Mkhitaryan’s former employers Dortmund.
United will begin the 2016/17 Premier League season with a clash against Leicester City in the Community Shield at Wembley on 7 August.
The Red Devils finished in fifth place in the Premier League table last season.
