Ander Herrera has taken to social media to reveal that he is feeling in good shape as Manchester United continue their pre-season preparations at Carrington under Jose Mourinho.

The Spanish midfielder reported back to the Red Devils’ training ground this week as United began their first pre-season campaign under new manager Jose Mourinho.

Herrera is one of United’s players who was not involved in international duty during the summer and therefore returned to Carrington on Wednesday.

The midfielder posted the picture above of himself after Manchester United’s pre-season training session on Saturday morning.

He shared the picture on his personal Instagram account and wrote: “Fourth session done @manchesterunited”

Mourinho was officially unveiled as United’s new manager on Tuesday morning as he was paraded in front of the media at Old Trafford.

The Portuguese coach signed a three-year deal to become the club’s new boss back in May after the sacking of Louis van Gaal.

Herrera’s Spanish team-mate Juan Mata also reported back to Carrington for pre-season training this week after enjoying a break from football in the summer months.
