Liverpool keeping tabs on £21m Croatia defender – report
Liverpool are set to rival Arsenal for Inter Milan defender Marcelo Brozovic, according to reports in Italy
Liverpool are monitoring Croatia and Inter Milan defender Marcelo Brozovic in the summer transfer window, according to speculation in the Italian media.
Gazzetto dello Sport – as reported by The Daily Express – are reporting that the Merseyside outfit are interested in the Croatia international.
The same story claims that Liverpool’s Premier League rivals Arsenal are also interested in the Croatian defender.
The 23-year-old is thought to have a contract that runs until 2019 at San Siro after the Euro 2016 star moved to Milan from Dinamo Zagreb in 2014.
Brozovic scored one goal in 15 Serie A games in the 2014/15 season before the Zagreb-born star netted four times in 27 appearances in the Italian top flight.
Jurgen Klopp has already added four new players to his squad this summer after Marko Grujic and Joel Matip agreed deals to join the Reds earlier this year.

The Liverpool manager handed Loris Karius the number one shirt after completing a £4.7m deal to sign Bundesliga outfit Mainz earlier in the summer transfer window.
Klopp oversaw the £30m transfer of Senegal international Sadio Mane to Liverpool from Southampton earlier this month.
