Liverpool are lining up a move for Inter Milan midfielder Gary Medel, according to reports in the Italian media.
Tuttosport – as quoted by AS – are reporting that the Reds are interested in signing the former Cardiff City man after he become available from Inter.
The 28-year-old Chile international has made 65 Serie A appearances for Inter since joining the club back in 2014.
The Merseyside outfit have already bolstered their squad with five new signings in the summer transfer window so far as Jurgen Klopp continues to rebuild at the Merseyside outfit.
Germany Under-21 international Loris Karius was the first summer arrival after sealing a £4.7m transfer from Bundesliga club Mainz ahead of the European championship.
Klopp finally secured Sadio Mane’s transfer in a £30m move from Liverpool’s Premier League rivals Southampton earlier this month, while defender Ragnar Klavan joined on Wednesday.
