Liverpool are considering a deal to sign former Arsenal goalkeeper Alex Manninger, according to reports in the British media.
The Daily Mail are claiming that the 39-year-old is on trial at Liverpool with a view to becoming their third-choice goalkeeper next term.
Jurgen Klopp has already signed one goalkeeper this summer after the Reds completed a £4.7m deal for Germany Under-21 and Mainz shot stopper Loris Karius at the start of the summer.
The former Manchester City youth player has been handed the number one shirt as the German shot stopper prepares to battle with Simon Mignolet for a starting spot in Klopp’s side.
Wales international Danny Ward, who played in his country’s 2-1 victory over Slovakia in their opening Euro 2016 game, has agreed a loan move to Huddersfield Town.
