Liverpool ponder bid to make France striker Klopp’s next signing – report
Liverpool could rival Arsenal in the race to sign Alexandre Lacazette from Lyon, say reports
Liverpool are interested in rivalling Arsenal in the race to sign Alexandre Lacazette from Lyon in the summer transfer window, according to reports in France.
Le 10 Sport is reporting that the Reds could join the race to sign the France international, who is also thought to have attracted interest from West Ham United this summer.
The same story goes on to say that Liverpool would consider a transfer swoop for Lacazette if striker Christian Benteke ends up joining Crystal Palace this summer.
Jurgen Klopp is believed to be on the lookout for more reinforcements in the summer transfer window as he prepares for his first full season in charge of the Anfield outfit.
Arsenal are also thought to be keen on signing the forward this summer as Arsene Wenger looks to add more firepower to his squad at Emirates Stadium after their disappointing trophyless campaign last term.
