Luke Shaw takes to social media to reveal that he is back in training with Manchester United at Carrington

Luke Shaw has taken to social media to reveal that he is closing in on a return to action with Manchester United after his lengthy injury lay-off.

The Manchester United full-back missed most of last season after suffering a horror leg break during the Champions League clash away to PSV Eindhoven back in September.

Shaw has been working hard on his fitness levels as he prepares to make his return to action for the Red Devils.

The England international has been training at United’s Carrington base this week as he gets used to life under new manager Jose Mourinho at the club.

And the left-back used his personal Twitter account to offer a positive update on his progress as the new season draws ever nearer.
