Manchester United and Liverpool are both interested in signing Porto midfielder Ruben Neves this summer, say reports

Manchester United and Liverpool are both eager to sign Porto holding midfielder Ruben Neves this summer, according to reports.

Portuguese daily DN Sports, as reported by The Sun, is claiming that both of the Premier League clubs are keen to bring the 19-year-old to England this summer.

Neves made 38 appearances for Porto last season and his future at the Portuguese club has been a source of speculation in recent weeks.

Now, it appears that both Liverpool and United have signalled their interest in bringing the teenager to the Premier League.

The same newspaper report says that Neves could command a fee in the region of £13m should he secure a transfer this summer.

It also claims that newly-appointed Manchester United boss is a keen admirer of the youngster and would love to bring him to Old Trafford.

Mourinho was officially unveiled to the media as Manchester United manager for the first time on Tuesday following his appointment as Louis van Gaal’s successor.
