Man United face Premier League competition for Portugal winger – report
Stoke City want to sign Manchester United target Nani, according to reports in England
Stoke City are hoping to beat Manchester United to the signing of former Red Devils winger Nani this summer, according to reports in England.
The Fenerbahce midfielder has been one of Portugal’s big plus points in this summer’s European championship as Nani continues to rebuild his career following a difficult spell at Old Trafford.
The 29-year-old has netted twice in four Euro 2016 appearances so far, while the Champions League winner scored eight times and made eight assists in 28 appearances in the Turkish league last season.
New United manager Jose Mourinho was reported to be interested in re-signing Nani for the Red Devils earlier this month in what would be a surprise return one year after his £4.25m transfer out of Old Trafford.
According to the Daily Mirror, Stoke City manager Mark Hughes is set to target the Portugal winger to add to his Potters squad ahead of the 2016/17 Premier League season.
