Man United given strict deadline to make fourth key signing – report
Paul Pogba's agent has set interested clubs a deadline of two weeks to wrap up the signing of his client, say reports
Paul Pogba’s agent has set Manchester United and other interested clubs a deadline of two weeks to wrap up the signing of the France midfielder, according to reports in Spain.
Spanish publication MARCA is reporting that Pogba’s agent Mino Raiola wants his client’s future to be settled by the end of July.
The same report goes on to say that Manchester United retain a strong interest in signing the midfielder from Juventus in the summer transfer window, while Real Madrid have not completely ended their pursuit of the player.
Pogba has been heavily linked with a transfer away from Juventus this summer but there is yet to be any concrete news about his future, and the same story says that his mediocre performances at Euro 2016 have done little to accelerate the interest from Europe’s top clubs.
The France international was allowed to leave United back in 2012 to join Juve after being deemed surplus to requirements by then manager Sir Alex Ferguson at Old Trafford.
Jose Mourinho is thought to be keen to further bolster his Manchester United squad following the signings of Eric Bailly, Zlatan Ibrahimovic and Henrikh Mkhitaryan this summer.
