Man United ready to pay £100m and offer five-year deal for Mourinho’s next signing – report
Manchester United are planning a big money bid to bring Paul Pogba back to the club this summer, say reports
Manchester United are prepared to shell out £100m to sign Paul Pogba from Juventus this summer, according to reports.
The Sun is reporting that the Red Devils are prepared to smash the world transfer record to lure the France international back to Old Trafford this summer.
The same newspaper report goes on to say that United are prepared to offer Pogba a five-year contract worth £78m to sign for the Premier League outfit.
The reports come after United completed their third signing of the summer transfer window on Wednesday as they confirmed the arrival of Henrikh Mkhitaryan from Borussia Dortmund.
Jose Mourinho said in his news conference on Tuesday that he is aiming to bring a total of at least four new players to Old Trafford during the summer transfer window.
With three signings already secured, there has been plenty of speculation that Pogba could be the next target for the club.
The France international left United to sign for Juventus back in 2012 after he was deemed to be surplus to requirements at Old Trafford by then manager Sir Alex Ferguson.
He has since gone on to develop into one of Europe’s top talents in Turin.
