Manchester United are prepared to pay £100m to re-sign Paul Pogba from Juventus this summer, say reports
Manchester United are prepared to break the world transfer record and pay £100m to re-sign Paul Pogba from Juventus this summer, according to reports in the British media.
The Daily Mail is reporting that the Red Devils have moved a step closer to bringing the France midfielder back to Old Trafford by telling Juventus that they are willing to pay a world-record fee to land the player this summer.
United have been linked with a move to bring Pogba back to Old Trafford this summer, speculation which has continued in the wake of Jose Mourinho’s appointment as Red Devils manager.
The same report says that the United’s owners – the Glazer family – are determined to help to restore United as the most popular club in Europe and feel that Pogba’s signing could boost that goal.
Pogba left United back in the summer of 2012 after being deemed surplus to requirements by then manager Sir Alex Ferguson.
