Manchester United have submitted a £92m bid to sign Paul Pogba from Juventus this summer, say reports
Manchester United have submitted a £92m bid to sign Paul Pogba from Juventus this summer, according to reports in the British media.
The Guardian is reporting that the Red Devils have made a €110m (£92m) offer plus a further €10m (£8.35m) in add-ons as they look to bring the highly-rated France midfielder back to Old Trafford.
The same story claims that Juventus are seeking an additional €10m (£8.35m) from the proposed deal as they look to get the highest price for the 23-year-old.
The article also states that Juve have warned the Red Devils that their signing of Gonzalo Higuain from Napoli does not mean that they need to sell Pogba this summer.
Pogba’s future has been a relentless source of speculation this summer following Jose Mourinho’s appointment as United’s new manager.
The Portuguese coach is believed to be keen to lure the Frenchman back to the club he left back in 2012, while Sir Alex Ferguson was still in charge at Old Trafford.
United finished fifth in the Premier League last season under Louis van Gaal and won the FA Cup.
